Inactive Courses are Invisible - Except to Administrators
As a LearnCentrix administrator, you can inactivate courses that you no longer need - instead of deleting the courses. Students are not taking the courses, but management still wants the student data for reporting purposes. Inactivating a course is the answer. And it is simple to do. Here are the steps:
- Enter Course Administration
- Click on the course name link for the course you wish to inactivate
- uncheck the Active checkbox
- Click the Save button
That's it!
Remember that inactive courses will not appear on the My Courses page for any user, including developers. If a developer wants to keep a course "hidden" from students until the material is all ready, then do not create any offerings or enroll any students. It is not necessary to inactivate the course to hide it.
