The library is a resource repository for a course.  It is organized into categories, with library items in the categories. Library items can be downloadable files or links to useful sites.

A good example of a library category would be "Recommended Books".  And the items in the category can take the student directly to that book's summary page on Amazon to be immediately purchased.
