It is common for our customers to provide certain courses to students for which they can self-enroll.  Examples include courses such as Ethics, Safety, and Orientation.  Self-enrollment eliminates administrative overhead because these courses do not need to be restricted to specific employees.  LearnCentrix has a mechanism to expose these types of courses to all users inside the online university.  We call them "Public Offerings".

Public Offerings appear on a special listing for students to simply select and start learning.  Students can also use a search feature to locate and select specific Public Offerings.

It is easy for an administrator to designate a class offering as public, merely by checking a box.
